R&S is comprised of a network of over 30 independently owned and operated locations, manufacturing facilities, and distribution centers. Our licensed and bonded service companies repair doors, docks, gates, and related products throughout California and Texas.R&S has served the needs of the door and gate industry since 1962 and is dedicated to providing its customers the highest quality products and services available.
Quick growth and increasing demand resulted in the start of production of rolling door products. With a five-acre manufacturing facility in Union City, as well as operations in Southern California and Portland, Oregon, R&S now manufactures and distributes a full line of high-quality rolling door products, garage doors, and openers for all applications.

A Legacy of Leadership
Our legacy continues under the leadership of Shawn, Jerry Trask Sr. son. For Shawn, R&S has always been home and a family business. Prior to Shawn becoming General Manager, his father, Jerry Trask Sr., was the fearless leader of R&S Overhead Garage Door, Inc. Starting in 1987 as a residential garage door repairman, Shawn’s dedication and work ethic helped him rise through the ranks, gaining hands-on experience across every department. From Field Supervisor to Assistant Manager and ultimately General Manager in 2000, Shawn has spent the past 24 years leading his team with passion and problem-solving expertise.
Under Shawn’s leadership, a staff of 53 skilled professionals continues to deliver the reliability, quality, and innovation that customers have come to expect from R&S. His commitment to excellence makes him a respected and valued leader who embodies the core values of the company.
